Behind The Logo
It signifies the beauty of Hawaii's lush tropical landscapes that people fall in love with and the sustainable landscapes we seek to further develop.
The inspiration for the design is a palm fran, symbolic of the elegance and fantasy of island landscapes. The fran was then cropped and turned upright to incorporate the look of many native and drought resistent plants in Hawaii that bring artistry, culture and sustainability, while helping to preserve the environment.
At the heart of the design is a tropical flower, with similar characteristics to many exotic flowers in Hawaii that intrigue and inspire us.
However, the logo also has a deeper meaning for the company and its employees because it:
Gives the appearance of the sun, representing the energy that drives us, the light that guides us, and our pride in our work;
our open and receptive communication with clients and our team to hear, respect, and incorporate their invidividual ideas and unique perspectives to achieve superior landscapes as characterized by the open leaves;
Signifies growth through the small flower in the middle, which stretches upward, growing toward the sun; and
Denotes our reaching out to aid and give back to the community that supports us through the the leaves that reach up and out, ready to respond.
